LifeStyle Fitness

Fitness is often something we take for granted. Those who work full time will understand the difficulty in getting motivated, while those who have some free time don’t always have someone to exercise with.

That’s why Eastern Sports & Spinal Care has introduced LifeStyle Fitness. This 6 week, 12 class course (2 classes p/week) offers participants an avenue to improve their fitness with like minded people. Unlike regular gym courses however, Eastern Sports & Spinal Care run an initial assessment and discuss your fitness goals with you. Once these have both been completed, our trained physiotherapist who runs the course will design a program that will effectively target these identified areas and tailor your exercises to your capabilities and requirements. The options are endless and include but are not limited to

Increased cardiovascular endurance
Increased core stability
Increased flexibility
Increased muscular endurance
Improved balance

Furthermore, a range of traditional and modern equipment is used to enhance your workout. From Pilates equipment and hand weights, to the Vibrogym or Wobbegong balance board that talks to the computer, we have the available resources to make your workout varied and enjoyable. At the completion of the course, your physio will again assess you to ascertain how successful you have been in reaching your exercise goals.
